Text Box: The Mayan  Language Project is pleased to announce introductory language courses in Chuj Language and Culture,  Ki’che’ Language and Grammar and Q’anjob’al Language and Grammar.  The courses are open to all and are especially designed for the children of native speakers living in the U.S. who want a brief introduction to their ancestral languages.  It may also be useful for teachers, travelers, community workers and other people interested in connecting with an indigenous language and world view.  Curriculum consists of phonology, vocabulary and simple phrases, sentences and dialogue.  Open for registration on June 1, 2013.   Space is limited, so register early.
